From a parking stall to boards across the country
It started with one questionable idea in an apartment
The tools got louder. The boards got better.
2013: first boards built inside a Milwaukee apartment, until the neighbors downstairs started pounding on the ceiling.
Lumber rode home sticking out of every window of a little VW Jetta.
A rolling tool cart, an elevator, and parking stall P-14 became the first real workshop, right next to a very patient stranger's Lexus.
Ten years later: a full shop in Corcoran, and a wall of boards across the country. Every set still gets the nervous once-over the first one got.
